Army Honors Ceremony

The East Baton Rouge Parish Housing Authority was honored by the local branch of the United States Army Reserve on Wednesday at the EBRPHA offices for retaining the position of one of its employees while he was out on extensive leave while training in Africa in 2020. Sergeant Edward Santos was a member of the 321st Sustainment Brigade (the Redstick Warriors), during 2020 while also serving as a maintenance technician with EBRPHA during his full-time job. Sergeant Santos faced the unique role of managing a civilian career and raising a family while simultaneously fulfilling his military obligation.
